I would always remember the nice moments we spent with Hassen during his visits in Mauritius. He came to visit us only two times but we spent some very nice time together here with the family. Some special moments I would always treasure such as the long talks we had with him in the evening, all the family together, sitting on the veranda as it was too hot inside. He always much appreciated looking at the summer sky at night, full of bright shining stars. It was on these occasions that I discovered how much we had in common, like our liking for reading and our good command of languages. He also very much encouraged me to continue studying and he would surely be proud to know that I have successfully completed my BA degree with distinction in French.
